Woodlands Quality Butchers is an exciting new company committed to selling locally produced fresh meat to the catering and retail industry. We buy quality pork and lamb from Woods Farm in Watlington, Oxfordshire. Where meat is produced to quality assured standards involving careful monitoring and independent inspection throughout the production process. Animals are fed a diet that is meat and bone free and are raised in less intensive conditions that remove the need for antibiotic growth promoters and routine medication. They also reduce both animal and food miles by taking animals to carefully selected abattoirs to reduce the length of transportation and to ensure the animals are handled sympathetically.
