Animals are fed a diet that is meat and bone free and are raised in less intensive conditions that remove the need for antibiotic growth promoters and routine medication. They also reduce both animal and food miles by taking animals to carefully selected abattoirs to reduce the length of transportation and to ensure the animals are handled sympathetically.
